Collection: Placemats

Placemats in double cotton gauze, made in France, 35×50 cm. Sold in pairs, in gingham, stripe or leopard.

The fabric lies flat under the plate and stores folded, without the bulk of a rigid placemat. It softens the sound of cutlery and protects the table without covering it entirely, so the wood still shows.

Double gauze is soft from the first use and softens further with every wash. It machine washes at 30 °C, dries quickly and needs no ironing. A fabric placemat you actually wash after every dinner, unlike the laminated kind you wipe without ever really cleaning.
